It consists of a tubular structure in polished AISI 316 stainless steel, a waterproof sheet UV resistant made of sunbrella fabric and transparent windows (in PVC or crystal) to maintain visibility.
Its main function is to protect from splashes of water, wind and rain, keep the cockpit more dry and sheltered and increase the comfort and safety on board . It is especially useful with rough sea or strong wind, when the spray comes from the bow.
