Overview
The Balance 540 is a next‑generation high‑technology carbon catamaran, available in Carbon Core and Carbon Core+ versions. Designed for long‑range passagemaking, it combines speed, internal volume and simplified handling for reduced crews.

Performance
This model prioritizes speed and control: foam hulls reinforced with carbon, Carbon Core internal structure, bowsprit, forward beam, carbon daggerboards and carbon rudders. The yacht sails quietly in light airs and produces downwind surfs exceeding 20 knots. Three furling headsails (overlapping genoa, self‑tacking solent and reacher) simplify power management for a small crew.

Construction
Full epoxy construction with Carbon Core: bulkheads, cabin soles, separating panels and structural bulk components (mast step, aft beam, daggerboard trunks and rudders) are made in carbon. The Carbon Core+ version adds fully carbon roof, cockpit, forward deck and aft chines for increased stiffness and reduced weight.
