Description

Presentation
The high-performance voyage catamaran designed for sailors who want speed without sacrificing long‑range comfort. View the first Balance 580 hulls currently under build.

Performance
With long, slender hulls, carbon‑reinforced structure and foam‑core epoxy construction, the Balance 580 is a high‑performance luxury voyager for sailors who refuse to compromise. Upwind she points high with minimal leeway in the 8–11 knot range using high‑aspect daggerboards. Reaching in true winds of 8–16 knots she easily reaches wind‑speed or better. In stronger winds and surf she accelerates into the 20s knots.

Structure
Hand‑laminated, vacuum‑bagged construction with closed‑cell foam cores and full epoxy resin. E‑glass (silica‑based fiber) is used with significant carbon‑fiber reinforcement in high‑load areas of hulls and decks. Carbon XP variant: 100% epoxy resin and full carbon construction.

Interior and finishes
Interior laid out for long‑range comfort and performance, with multiple finish and layout options to suit blue‑water cruising and owner preferences (examples shown in images).
