Description

Product description
The KONDOR/SOKOL is a double jib crane designed for handling heavy loads, containers and general cargo in port and shipyard environments. It uses the patented double‑link (double‑sink) principle introduced by Robert Ardelt (Eberswalde, 1932). This kinematic reduces pendulum motion and ensures a horizontal load path during luffing while enabling short load paths and energy recovery to lower operating costs. The block column with base‑point bearing allows installation and maintenance without special tools.

Advantages
  • Energy recovery for reduced operating costs
  • Horizontal load path during luffing
  • High positioning accuracy
  • Durable, robust construction for simplified maintenance
  • Grab depth control
  • Transportable by rail
  • Actively controlled pendulum damping
  • High handling and working speed

Typical applications
  • Container handling terminals
  • General cargo and bulk handling in ports
  • Shipyards for outfitting and repair
  • Heavy lift operations at quaysides
