Product descriptionThe TUKAN K is a double-jib port crane with a seaward-mounted integrated hopper. Discharge mechanisms attached to the hopper underside enable direct loading of trucks, trains and conveyor belts, and landside discharge onto storage areas and stockpiles. Compared with trolley-type loading bridges, the TUKAN K has reduced moving masses, yielding improved energy efficiency and lower dynamic loads.
Advantages and possible uses- Adaptable hopper geometry tailored to application
- Short load paths, reduced cable and pendulum lengths, favorable center of gravity from double-jib design
- Lower energy consumption, reduced dust emissions and low noise during operation
- Lower capital and operating costs due to reduced moving masses
- High throughput for bulk handling operations
- Semi-automatic operation possible; optimized travel paths with minimal turning movements
Applications- Bulk loading and handling at ports and terminals
- Use in shipyards and marine terminals
- Direct loading to trucks, wagons and conveyor belts; discharge to yards and stockpiles
