The AQLBA Lifebuoy Light is an alkaline battery powered man‑overboard emergency light designed for mounting on a lifebuoy. When the unit enters the water, the LED head floats upright by gravity and the light automatically activates, producing a flashing white signal.

Fitting

• Supplied with a clip and rope. Mount the clip adjacent to the lifebuoy, place the light on the clip and firmly tie it to the lifebuoy with the rope.
• When the lifebuoy is thrown into the water, the light must be automatically pulled from the clip and enter the water with the lifebuoy.

Operation

• Activation via gravity sensor when the unit enters the water.
• The LED head floats above the water and provides a flashing white output ≥2.0cd for at least 14 hours.
• The light turns off automatically when the LED head faces downwards.
