Your suggestions for improvement:
How to choose this product

VHF antenna splitters are compact electronic devices that allow a single antenna for to be used for VHF, AIS and/or FM transmission and reception.
Applications
These devices are essential for using only one antenna for the VHF radio, AIS transponder and FM radio. They are not required with an AIS-compatible VHF radio.
Technologies
Splitters are on reception stand-by on all frequencies, including VHF, AIS, and FM. They detect and identify incoming signals, and cut off unused devices in a matter of milliseconds. Since AIS transponders require an active antenna, the splitter must be connected to the electrical system.
How to choose
Choice may depend on VHF and transponder model, though most VHF antenna splitters are compatible with all such material.
