ApplicationsThese devices facilitate putting out the exact amount of chain required for secure anchoring, usually five times water depth, more if poor holding ground or weather conditions warrant.
TechnologiesPre-programmed and connected directly to the anchor windlass, the instrument counts the number of revolutions it makes and calculates the length of chain payed out and its descent speed, among other factors.
