How to choose this product

boat-stanchion

A boat stanchion is a long, thin post, usually of metal, used to support the craft's lifelines.

Technologies

These metal posts are mounted vertically around the edge of the deck or on either side of a gangway or ladder. The lifelines pass through eyes or holes in the stanchion. There are both permanent and removable models, some reinforced by braces.

How to choose

Choice will depend on the size of the boat and the diameter of the lines, chains or cables to be supported.
