Description

The BARC 210 dam is an anti-pollution dam to contain pollution and protect an installation. The applications are multiple and this barrier is modular. This floating boom is made up of a succession of flexible tubes of closed cell foam inserted in waterproof envelopes in polyester fabric coated with hydrocarbon treated PVC (700g / m2). It is reinforced with a galvanized nautical steel ballast chain in a sheath over its entire length. The compartmentalization of the elements allows this dam with skirt to follow the movements on the surface of the water. Its great flexibility gives it excellent behavior in the face of strong winds and currents. The booms can be quickly connected to each other by a zipper with cover skirt and a continuous reinforcement strap. Two carabiners at each end also make it possible to absorb the tensile forces.
