Marine plywood panel
KHAYA
Compensati toro
Khaya (Khaya sp.) and Sapelli (Entandrophragma cylindricum) are two African timber belonging to the mahogany group that have a nice decorative aspect and are characterized by durability class 3 of EN 350-2. Panels made with the faces in mahogany veneers and inner plies of Okoumé are also available. Moreover, when weight is a factor of critical importance, the above panels can be realized in a mixed composition (combi) with okoumé faces and core veneers on lighter density wood species, which have a durability against fungal attack rating at least of class 4.
Marine plywood is one of the veneered-based products with the greatest value, nicest appearance and highest durability. Its performance makes this plywood particularly adequate for applications where both decorative function and mechanical properties are priorities, especially in the naval sector.
The marine plywood produced by the factory can also be available with FSC and/or Lloyd's Register certifications.
