The Blue Dragon is a polyethylene training boat, developed by and for sailing schools and associations. The hull of the Blue Dragon consists of two layers of indestructible polyethylene. In between these is a layer of hard foam PE. The volume of foam itself is sufficient to make the Blue Dragon unsinkable.
The polyethylene is stiffer thanks to this new composition, as is the sandwich contruction. The new construction method is also stronger and lighter than before. The previous method was a single skin construction which, because of the necessary material thickness, made the boat heavier and the skin more susceptible to cracks.
A polyethylene boat is now not necessarily heavier than a FRP hull thanks to this construction method. The hull of the Blue Dragon has an average thickness of 9 mm, and at 39 kilos it's also the lightest boat in its class!

They are builders of very high quality boats including the International 420 and the IOD95 Optimist and now the Byte. Their Optimist - the Xtreme - is now the top boat in SE Asia and the best built Optimist we have seen. Two test boats were brought into Canada in 2001 and, after a thorough trial, we have the licensed distributorship for North America. It is a fully measured IOD95, with ISAF plaque, qualified to race anywhere.
We will offer the hull in only one configuration, the best they offer, fully equipped. Spars, foils and sails will be available for everything from a basic club trainer to an all out grand prix racer.

The Pixxy 2.35 is a stable, easily adaptable dinghy, making beginners classes for children a genuine pleasure. Young helmsmen will be particularly attracted by the fashionable design and especially sleek-looking tiller.
Comfortable : The extra-spacious cockpit and wide, user-friendly tanks make teaching children easy and the whole sailing experience more pleasurable still.
Practical : This dinghy carries especially well due to wide, solid "wing" strakes which, along with the restoring torque, make it easy to handle and the hull particularly resistant. The boom is positioned high enough to nullify any potential problems when beating. A small tank at the front of the dinghy offers convenient storage for the towing line and a dry place in which to keep smaller items. The semi-open rear transom keeps the sheet firmly in place, whilst the Optimist-model centre-board, rudder head and rigging can all be adapted to the Pixxy.
Safe : The Pixxy is as safe a vessel as the Optimist. Righting is made especially easy thanks to the design of the self-draining cockpit and the voluminous double bunt and tanks. In addition, the bolt-rope mast and reefing enable free and easy sailing with the fastest possible reduction in speed, partial or total. Children can board this vessel easily due to the semi-open design of the rear transom.

A dinghy for beginners, aged 7 to 13 !
Program
Two versions are available : Traditional, single-bunt or double-bunt.
Self-draining model : Enabling young helmsmen to keep their eyes on the rudder !
The idea behind the "self-draining" model was to give a classic boat a makeover by adding a cockpit more convivial and spacious in layout, as well as a generally smoother, more fun design.
This boat is particularly easy to manoeuvre, and includes a fold-away rudder head and self-draining double bunt, making for the most pleasurable, care-free sailing for children imaginable.
In the event of capsizing, righting the boat is as quick as it is easy. The tanks, which include a progressively more slender beam towards the rear transom, helps children find the natural sailing position that best suits them.
The smooth-angled hull design guarantees high shock-resistance.
The perfect design for instructors :
Standard front and rear mooring. Increased safety, easy to maintain and wash down via self-draining double bunt.
Construction materials : Felt/polyester sandwich structure. The double bunt is linked to the hull via a pre-moulded, laminated polyester structure, guaranteeing extra stability throughout this one-piece vessel.
