The in-line four-cylinder 3.0GL is a compact and reliable gasoline engine for sport boats, walkarounds, leisure fishing boats and many other types. Breaker less ignition system and hydraulic valve lifters give excellent reliability and low maintenance. A 3.0-liter displacement with high torque over the entire speed range is a perfect combination for the SX single-propeller drive. The drive can easily be adapted for right (standard) or left-handed propellers.

A genuine gasoline V-8 for performance motorboats. With 5.7-liter displacement and eight cylinders, this engine delivers loads of torque and power across the entire speed range. Available either with carburetors (GL) or an advanced fuel-injection system (Gi and GXi) the engine is a perfect match for the Duoprop twin-propeller drive. Power steering is fitted as standard for maximum driving comfort.

Our latest V8 Bravo Multiport Injection (MPI) sterndrive models are now available with optional Digital Throttle and Shift (DTS). DTS eliminates all helm maintenance and provides silky-smooth shifts for the life of the product. DTS automatically synchronizes multiple engines, provides shift protection and provides SmartStart digital starting. DTS commands can be made from up to three helms to as many as four engines.

More performance drives are available than ever before with the MerCruiser 496 MAG and 496 MAG HO big block engines. Bravo X drives are optional on the 496 MAG. All XR drives are now available as well, including the Sport Master XR and new Bravo Three XR. The Mercury Racing transom is now standard equipment with XR drives, and the Integrated Transom System with its built-in external steering and 7” standoff is now optional with any XR drive as well.
