The Raymarine AIS250 Receiver module is a 'listen only' AIS receiver that easily integrates with an existing VHF antenna using a built in VHF splitter. The AIS250 then interfaces to Raymarine multifunction displays, allowing AIS targets to be graphically overlaid in both the chartplotter and radar modes.
Operating in the VHF maritime band, the AIS system enables the wireless exchange of navigation status between vessels and shore-side traffic monitoring centers. Commercial ships, ocean going vessels and other boats equipped with AIS transmitters broadcast AIS messages that include the vessel's name, course, speed, and current navigation status.

Competitive in price, the AE-1800 Meets IMO resolution MSC.148(77) and GMDSS requirements for SOLAS vessels. It features a 5.6-inch day light viewing color TFT LCD display screen showing up to 20 lines with 40 characters each.
Three test background colors, two character font sizes and white LED lamps for extended service life, allow clarity and a friendly user interface. Search- And- Rescue (SAR) messages are displayed in red to show clear distinction from other message types.
A 60cm pre amplified stainless steel whip active antenna is included as a standard accessory with compatibility for a 1.2m pre-amplified fiberglass whip.
The AE-1800 receives messages over of 518 kHz /490 kHz or 518 kHz /4,209.5 kHz frequencies, storing up to 200 messages. Received messages are stored in non-volatile memory and can be recalled and displayed line by line or message by message using dedicated scroll keys. After a user specified time period the messages are automatically erased or users can protect important messages. Protected messages are stored for 10 days after power is removed continuously. In addition, messages are searchable by station ID and/or by message category. Messages can also be output from a total of three external interface ports for printing, for processing by other on-board systems, or for re-transmission to shore. Alarm outputs are also available from a dedicated connector.
Along with an active antenna, this product also includes a mounting bracket and operation manual. The unit Interfaces with optional printer (PR- 900) or serial printer via printer port for on- line printing of current messages being received or off- line printout of stored messages.

AIS Radar Receiver
The Nasa Marine AIS radar is the first stand alone AIS receiver / plotter specifically designed for the leisure boat market.
The display, with ranges of 1,2,4,8,16 and 32 nautical miles shows AIS carrying vessels in a format normally associated with conventional radar. A trail of previous positions clearly chows the relative track of all the targets on the screen. A box to the right of the screen displays the speed over the ground, the vessel name, mmsi number and the latidude and longitude of any target selected by the user.
The compact unit has a white backlit LCD display, operates from 12 volts and consumes little power.

This is a compact LCD display Navtex receiver which offers outstanding quality at a very affordable price.
The AE-1000 is not intended to be used as a GMDSS approved component, but instead it is geared to the recreational user or for use in vessels that do not need to meet compulsory GMDSS/ IMO requirements. This receiver works in the 518KHz frequency, where domestic and most international Navtex messages are broadcast.
The NAVTEX message screen is a high contrast 4.5 inch LCD that provides a wide easy-to-read display (32 characters x 16 lines per page). You won’t have to use and replace thermal paper again! The AE-1000 provides a fully electronic, economical, maintenance free solution. Both screen backlighting and contrast levels are fully adjustable. Stored messages can be scrolled line-by-line or message-by-message with a single keystroke, and can be output for printout with a PC or for other onboard or shore based applications.

Clipper Navtex
The Clipper navtex is the culmination of nearly 20 years of experience in manufacturing navtex instruments. The compact display unit will grace any instrument panel with its sharp high contrast liquid crystal display. Standard features of the receiver include 518 and 490kHz message reception and a non volatile program memory - if your sailing is confined to one particular area, then you need program the unit only once. Though it will of course receive every station worldwide if necessary! For the best possible night viewing the unit boasts a white backlight that is actuated automatically when programming, a single key press will turn it on and off when reading the messages. The Target Navtex Pro is packed with features yet is still remarkably easy to install and use. Great care has been taken to make this unit very simple to operate, in fact should one lose the comprehensive instruction book supplied with it, it is possible to program the unit via the on-screen menus - it really is that simple. The messages are displayed on a high contrast backlit liquid crystal display with a clear line space between messages to aid location - this is necessary as the unit has a very large memory.
You can be sure you always have up to the minute data as the memory will overwrite the oldest messages if it becomes full. However you can at any time erase the data memory if you wish. It is like a continuous stream of paper - without the mess or expense! A unique feature of the receiver is the 'Data Streamer'. The Target Navtex was launched in January 1995 and has established itself as our most successful Navtex receiver to date. Following the NASA design philosophy the unit is simple to operate and with the cruising yachtman in ming has unbelievably low power consumption. Unlike othe Navtex receivers it dispenses with troublesome paper printouts and utilises a high contrast LCD to display a full worldwide Navtex service for all international Navtex stations. It even comes with an internal battery to back up the data if the power suplly is disrupted. The unit is designed to operate continuously and is programmable for station and message type. It can store over eight thousand characters in memory and will receive and retain messages even when you are asleep, busy handling you vessel or even in the bar 'planning' your next trip. This excellent system complete with its own short stub antenna. To receive the Navtex low frequency signals masthead mounting is unnecessary, pushpit or deck mounting is all that is needed.

The NAV6plus offers simultaneous dual channel reception as standard. Information is presented on a large and easy to read LCD display, rivalling paper print-out for legibility.
With navigation space becoming increasingly restricted in modern boats, the NAV6plus display concentrates NAVTEX and critical NMEA data from your GPS or instrument system into one central point. An electronic log book is updated at regular intervals and can be printed out later via an optional printer.
NAVTEX is part of the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS). It broadcasts weather and navigation warnings, in English on 518kHz every 4 hours from transmitters all around the world. The McMurdo NAV-7 supports reception of all three NAVTEX frequencies by providing simultaneous tri channel monitoring; The 518 KHz English language service, 490 KHz national language and 4209.5 KHz long range services can all be viewed together within a single list of NAVTEX messages.
Message text is clearly displayed on a large daylight viewable colour LCD screen. This offers paper white message presentation and the very best clarity under all light conditions thanks to the adjustable backlight.
