Unlimited speed/slalom
The 2009 Mega XS line was completely updated by Renato Morlotti in several important areas.
Sizes 4,7 and 5,2 are now equipped with a special camber set for RDM masts. With this new feature, the aerodynamics at high speeds are significantly improved. All other sizes use our SDM (standard diameter mast) cambers.
The important slalom sizes from 6,8 to 8,1 have a new body shape and are equipped with an 8-batten configuration which excels with much better control in the upper wind range.
The use of new roll cams makes the sail rotation softer and also the location of the cambers when rigging is much easier.
The Mega XS is the ultimate speed/slalom experience for committed speed sailors and competition racers.
Key facts:
Size specific batten configuration 7/5 or 8/5 in cross batten concept
4 New roll cams for soft rotation and easier rigging
Aerodynamic, wide mast sleeve shape out of Lektra

The Cannonball is the perfect partner for committed fast sailors and GPS racers who require a maximum of performance on all courses. In comparison to a pure race sail, the Cannonball is easier to handle and trim. The use of new roll cams makes the rotation softer and the sail rigging easier.
After sleeving the mast and applying about 75% of the downhaul, simply roll the cams onto the mast.
A medium-sized mast sleeve, 3 cams, a relative short boom and 7/8 battens in the cross batten concept guarantee planing power, outstanding acceleration and a top high end speed.
The harmonic shape with a deep profile and a distinctive loose leech gives an extra portion of power in low wind area and outstanding stability, even in the upper wind limits.
Key facts:
Reduced Boom Length for compact handling
7/4 or 8/41 batten configuration in cross batten concept
Airfoil Leech Design for more control in a wider wind range
2 Clew eyelets for more flexibility of boom position in different conditions
Medium-sized mast sleeve combined with deep profile for maximum early planing power

The Naish Stealth is a no compromise wide sleeve race sail that delivers powerful acceleration and effortless top speed. A new shaping technology has allowed us to build the record breaking Stealth with just 7 battens up through the 8.8, and the resulting lighter weight is a huge advantage both for pumping and for transitions.
This sail is not for the faint of heart!

With the launch of the new RS:Racing sail, comes the introduction of the following key elements in the RS:Racing Programme.
Limited Production:
RS:Racing sails are built in their own production area within the NeilPryde factory by a dedicated crew of skilled workers who specialise in RS production. Production is limited to 250 RS:Racing sails per month due to the complexity and high degree of precision required to build RS:Racing sails. RS:Racing sails will be available to order throughout the year...

With three UltraCams and a design based around the X6 Mast, the RS:SLALOM MKII features a combination of enhanced bottom end power, excellent top end speed, stability and exceptional rotation at every gybe.

The Zenith is a no-cam power slalom sail. It is your best choice for a sail designed specifically for cruising on longboards or big freeride stuff. With its tight leech and fuller shape, this model allows the rider to be powered up on a smaller sail. The reduced luff curve allows for hassle-free rigging. With its unique design, it can be tuned for non-planing conditions with a tight leech or pretty floppy for the overpowering stuff. Nice and bright for maximum 'wow'. The Zenith is the choice for the Exocet Kona one-design sail. This sail went unchanged from 2008 to 2009.

This is a powerful light wind sail designed to get the highest performance out of the new Hybrid style boards. It offers both strong planing and non-planing performance.
Construction: This model features a monofilm center panel with perimeter grid reinforcing and insignia tape reinforcing. This sail uses a combination of both tubular and rod battens.

The Glide is Aerotech's most affordable performance sail. With its monofilm construction and powerful shape it offers excellent freeride performance at a really wallet-friendly price. With a similar shape to the Air X, it crosses over to many disiplines to suit just about any stule of sailing.
This sail went unchanged from 2008 to 2009.

The VMG is Aerotech's all out race sail. This model has been tweaked for 2009 building on the winning ways of the 2008 model. With even more shape and double vertical shaping panels you will find it has an even wider range while maintaining the slippery feel that the VMG stands for. the exclusive use of exotic materials (and no monofilm) for the construction allows weights to be kept to a minimum and performance kept to a maximum.

The S_TYPE is our most successful sail in all international magazine tests and is meanwhile considered THE reference in its class. The update for 2009 is now under way, and it offers even more performance and controllability! More than any other sail, the brand-new S_TYPE represents the combination between acceleration and impressive performance and a great amount of speed, without compromising rig control and handling.

For 2008, the Retro is sporting a slightly lower center of effort, made possible by a smaller head, longer chord and deeper foot profile. Mitigating the longer chord length is a clew cutout for the boom end on all the 7-batten Retro sizes (6.0 m² and up), which reduces the actual boom length, despite the lower aspect ratio. The clew cutout has additional advantages in that it lowers the swing weight of the rig and makes it possible to use a given boom on a larger size sail than was previously possible.
