For even the most rigorously engineered products, there is no harsher test than the marine environment. Whether fresh water or salt, warm weather or cold, products designed specifically for the marine environment are sternly tested with every nautical mile. Technicold's line of chilled water air handlers are built for the most unforgiving of seas.
Formerly Rich Beers Marine, TECHNICOLD® by Northern Lights represents the state of the art in on-board environmental climate control. Offering a wide selection from 8,000 to 32,000 BTU, TECHNICOLD® air handlers feature high-volume variable-speed blowers that can be rotated 120 degrees for optimal versatility through top or side discharge.
TECHNICOLD® air handlers are thoughtfully constructed of 16 gauge 316L stainless steel and feature heliarc welded seams throughout to resist corrosion. A two inch, double-drain condensation pan assures proper drainage while preventing overflow, even in rough seas. Both drip pans and blowers are fully insulated to prevent condensation build up.

The Glacier Bay Micro Air EP represents the evolution of marine air conditioning into a true environmental control system for yachts.
The Micro Air EP20 (20,000 BTU/hr) systems provide a significant advancement over conventional air conditioning technology. However, to think of them only as air conditioners would sell them short. Micro Air EP systems not only control the temperature and humidity of the air inside the boat, they control the air quality as well.
