Rapido Trimarans Limited

Rapido Trimarans, an internationally owned and managed company, was established in 2014 to build world’s fastest production cruising trimaran, the Rapido 60.

The Rapido 60 was to be a genuine trimaran capable of comfortably crossing oceans in terms of safety and comfort. Designed by world-acclaimed naval architects, Morrelli & Melvin, the Rapido 60 can be sailed by a crew of two or for couples.

Observers sometimes express concern about the perceived level of power of the Rapido. Definitely, it is worth asking the question and the answer is that the power can be easily managed and she can be easily sailed. And, of course, the Rapido allows its crew to sail out of the way of heavy weather if required and that is the safest form of defence.

In 2019, Rapido introduced the 40' and 50' versions. A key difference is that they both come with folding amas (floats) which makes parking in a single berth at marinas possible.

Rapido Trimarans is also coming out with a range of Rapido Catamarans, designed by the award winniing team, Albatross Marine Design. They will be built in three configurations over two sizes: RC12, RC17 (Commercial) and RC17 (Owner's).

Rapido Trimarans, through our whiolly owned subsidiary, Triac Composites (www.TriacComposites.com), is also able to offer outsourced production (including the manufacture of plugs and moulds).

The owners of Rapido Triamrans have more than 60 years of collective experience of building trimarans and during that time, they have built more than 1,500!
