Our Values – What drives us at FENDERTEX® Since 2014, FENDERTEX® has been developing a new generation of inflatable textile fenders with a single ambition: to be better, lighter, more durable, and smarter. Innovation Our technology is the result of several years of research and development conducted alongside marine professionals and CETI (European Centre for Innovative Textiles). This research has led to an internationally patented textile design, conceived to offer excellent resistance to pressure and traction while significantly reducing weight and bulk on board. French Expertise Our fenders are designed and manufactured in France, thanks to specialized expertise in technical textiles. From mesh design to finishing touches, every detail is conceived to meet the demands of boating: resistance, lightness, durability, and aesthetics. Ecology Designing a more efficient product also means seeking to reduce its environmental impact. Thanks to their textile design and very low weight, FENDERTEX® fenders require much less petroleum-based material than traditional fenders. Their lightness also helps reduce the impact related to transport and handling. We prioritize local manufacturing, durable materials, and a design intended to maximize the lifespan of each product. Durability and Repairability Our fenders are designed to last. If needed, they can be repaired in our workshop in France, to avoid systematic replacement and extend their lifecycle. This repairability approach is an integral part of our philosophy: produce less, but produce better and longer. Proximity Shipyards, distributors, captains, or owners: we work directly with professionals and users of our products worldwide. This proximity allows us to understand real needs on board, to offer adapted recommendations, and to provide support before and after purchase. High Standards A fender is first and foremost a piece of protective equipment. Therefore, we give equal importance to performance, reliability, and safety as we do to design. Our solutions are designed to meet the real constraints of navigation while harmoniously integrating with the boat's aesthetics.
