Available in 150, 115, 60 and 40 horsepower, you can “off-road” without the possibility of breaking a blade on rocks or other underwater obstructions. So, while you may be giving up the prop, you’re gaining a whole lot of freedom with a jet drive. Our 1-liter F60 Jet Drive outboard produces 40 hp at the pump. Its compact, lightweight SOHC four-cylinder, in-line design features a single throttle valve and long-track induction system. This creates a light, compact, powerful outboard and improves throttle response for shallows and shoals. 257 pounds (including jet pump assembly) Precision Multi-Point Electronic Fuel Injection delivers the exact amount of fuel needed for optimum performance and efficiency. The Composite Intake Manifold on Yamaha's Jet Drive F150, F115, F90, F60 and F40 feature long tube intake tracks, tuned to increase airflow. This boosts low-end and midrange torque for a more powerful hole shot and increased acceleration.
