Multi-end roving designed for large-surface SMC (Sheet Molding Compound) components to enable efficient processing, improved mechanical performance and a resin-rich white surface suitable for pigmented parts. The product targets large transportation components and semi-structural parts where high modulus, strength and low surface porosity are required.
Performance attributes- Efficient processing: easy unwinding and chopping, flat lay-down and uniform dispersion with low fuzz and static for large and/or semi-structural part molding.
- Enhanced performance: excellent wet-through and impregnation enabling higher glass loading (reported up to ~65% by a customer data source), improving mechanical strength and stiffness in complex structures.
- Ideal color (white) for pigmented parts: resin-rich white surface aspect with low porosity and low shrinkage, facilitating pigmentation or painting.
- Enhanced service life: Advantex® glass helps resist corrosion, offering improved service life compared to standard E-glass.
Applications- Large transportation components (cab door skins for heavy-duty trucks, buses, trains)
- Home fixtures and other semi-structural general-purpose products requiring high modulus, strength and aesthetics
- Consumer goods — other open or closed mold applications
- OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) components
- Transportation: automotive interior (semi-structural and structural) and heavy transportation

- Packaging: Each doff is protected by Tack-Pak™ packaging. Creel-Pak™ packaging is available upon request.
- Labeling: Each doff has a self-adhesive identification label (product reference and production date). Each pallet label details product reference, pallet net and gross weights, production date and pallet production code. Packaging supports short-term stacking of two pallets (use plywood plate recommended when stacking).
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry area in original packaging until use; allow product to reach workshop temperature for 48 hours prior to utilization to avoid condensation. Packaging is not waterproof—protect from weather and water. No known shelf life if stored properly; retesting advised after two years from production date to ensure optimum performance.
