Product infoThe AFS (Advanced Flotation System) places the buoyancy of the inflated jacket where it functions best, improving rotation, freeboard and stability in the water. The low-profile design increases manoeuvrability both in and out of the water, essential for rescue and self-recovery.
Key features- 170N buoyancy
- Durable rip stop outer fabric with high visibility colours
- Hammar® hydrostatic automatic inflation system

Bladder constructionThe AFS internal inflation chamber is formed by the sewn outer construction, creating a true 3D chamber that sits close to the body. This maximises in-water performance while minimising bulk. The construction improves wearability, visibility and reduces snag risk by protecting the Hammar® inflator on the jacket back.
Harness Release System (HRS)Spinlock’s HRS is fitted as standard. It is a soft loop attachment point for a safety line which can be released in an emergency to free a person from their safety line. Key points:
- Activation handle located behind the soft loop, easy to locate and pull
- Soft loop releases and opens on activation
- Allows separation from safety line and vessel when required
- System can be easily reset for reuse
- Meets ISO12402-1 Deck Safety Harness requirements
HAMMAR® INFLATORThe Hammar® hydrostatic automatic inflator activates by water pressure and will not fire until the firing head is approximately 10 cm underwater. It is designed for offshore use and reduces accidental inflation from rain or spray. The unit includes an indicator to show if armed; delayed inflation may occur if firing head immersion is prevented by buoyant clothing.
