RADius 2000 is a high-precision relative positioning reference system for dynamic positioning (DP) operations on vessels and offshore installations. The fully solid-state design reduces maintenance and enables multiple users to leverage the same transponders simultaneously for coordinated operations.

Innovative technology
The system is based on radar principles with solid-state components and advanced signal processing to provide continuous, simultaneous range and bearing measurements to any practical number of transponders. Support for multiple sensor heads enables omnidirectional operation and prevents blind angles. The unit includes an intuitive, touch-ready HMI for onboard use.

Operational performance
RADius 2000 features autodetecting transponders, a wide vertical operational sector of 100°, and accurate measurements to transponders up to 550 metres. It supports multi-vessel operations where each transponder can be used concurrently by multiple vessels, extending operational flexibility for DP tasks.

Reliability and certification
The system has no moving parts, offers easy and quick installation, and is designed to operate in all weather conditions. Certified transponder options (ATEX, IECEx, Inmetro, UL) are available for hazardous offshore environments.
