Description
RIGAS DIZELIS DG auxiliary diesel generating sets based on RIGAS DIZELIS marine diesel engine for on board power generation.
Arrangement of genset elements
Diesel and alternator are mounted via elastic suspensions on common marine bed frame
Cooling
Gensets are available with different cooling systems:
-Air cooled radiator with blowing fan (on frame or separate standing)
-Heat exchanger & sea water pump
-Keel cooling via box cooler or central cooling system
Starting system
Electrical (24V) or compressed air starter
Control system
Diesel generating set is equipped with control and alarm system. Control panel (programmable microprocessor base) is mounted on frame or separate standing
Certification
Diesel generating set comply to requirements of Classification Societies, IACS (RS, BV, DNV-GL, etc.)
