BUILD FOR ADVENTURE. DESIGNED FOR LIFE.
The Seawind 1270 marks a bold new chapter for Seawind Catamarans. Inheriting her DNA from the very successful Seawind 1260, this new 42-foot model defines how a true cruising catamaran should be: Stronger, safer, powerful but with refinement in her every design detail. The 1270 is the essence of our Seawind product philosophy and adds another chapter in our rich history of building very capable performance cruising catamarans for real sailors.
- Exterior Redefined: Extended by 400mm in length and 120mm in beam, the Seawind 1270 stands broader, with more stability and increased offshore capability. Taller 810mm stanchions with four lifelines turn safety into assurance, giving the boat a quiet authority that inspires confidence with every horizon.
- Technology for Tomorrow: Set to debut in late 2026, a new hybrid-electric propulsion option will place the Seawind 1270 at the forefront of sustainable cruising – a cleaner, quieter way to bluewater cruise. Complimented by a large 2040W solar array; induction stove; electric BBQ; electric microwave oven and a 48volt system, the hybrid pack has efficiency and reliability throughout her design.
- Ergonomics Design and Comfort: The Seawind 1270 welcomes more natural light, more volume, and more freedom with alternative layouts in the saloon area. A saloon extended by 180mm and hulls widened by 60mm create interiors that feel open and inviting, with a connection to the cockpit which features the famous Seawind tri-fold door system and twin-protected helms, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience. For those seeking even greater versatility, an optional galley-up layout with either three or four cabins transforms the boat into a true home for life at sea. An extended aft transom step and side access gates make dock access effortless for all whilst boarding dockside.
- Performance Without Compromise: A carbon composite fore-beam, raised by 250mm from the Seawind 1260, delivers superior wave clearance and confident handling offshore. With a stiff carbon longeron for flying a screacher and stayless bowsprit for a top down spinnaker, the Seawind 1270 sails faster, smoother, and steadier in every condition, allowing customers to experience serious offshore conditions with the greatest of confidence.
