Description

Overview
The Frost Control Valve is a currentless drain valve with integrated frost monitoring. It is suitable as an accessory for hot water appliances (boilers or combi boilers) and for permanently installed water tanks in caravans and motorhomes.

Operation / Operating instructions
1 = Push switch position 'Operation'.
2 = Pushbutton position 'Drain'.
3 = Pushbutton position 'Closed'.
4 = Drainage socket (routed outside through floor of vehicle).

Start working status / Closing the drain valve / Fill the boiler (water tank):
- Ensure the push switch (Position 1) is set to 'Operation' and engaged.
- Close the drain valve by pressing the pushbutton (Position 3) until it engages in 'Closed'.
- Only close manually when the valve temperature is above approx. 7 °C (ambient).

Manual drain valve opening:
- Press the pushbutton (Position 2); the push switch and pushbutton pop out (Position 1 and Position 3). The water drains through the drainage socket (Position 4).

Automatic opening of the drain valve:
- If the valve temperature falls below approx. 3 °C (ambient), the valve opens automatically and the pushbutton pops out (Position 3). The water drains through the drainage socket (Position 4).

Installation mapping example: 1 = Push switch; 2 = Pushbutton; 3 = Pushbutton; 4 = Frost Control Valve (safety/drain valve); 5 = Non-return valve (not included). Recommended for boilers, combi-boilers and permanently installed water tanks in caravans and motorhomes.
