Designed for mounting your display right where you need it. The FM-2 fits pedestal rails from 25mm to 33.7mm (0.98″ – 1.33″) diameter. Always view your instruments from the perfect angle by using this accessory in combination with your Scanstrut Helm Pod. The Flex-Mount System gives you more options for installing your electronics - simply clamp onto your existing rail or steering binnacle and install the Helm Pod as normal.

FAQs

• The back of the Helm Pod is designed to fit 9.5” or 12” centre pedestals. If your pedestal is a different measurement, you could use our Flex Mount System to install the product.
• Scanpods are made from acrylic capped ABS plastic, which makes them tough, corrosion free and UV stable.
• Scanpods are supplied uncut as standard. However, for a small fee they can be supplied pre-cut for your electronic.
• To cut the pod front, use a jigsaw, but slow it right down so as not to melt the ABS. Move slowly and patiently through the plastic.

SCA Testing
Scanstrut products are tested to be Safe, Certified, and Approved. Testing includes electrical, mechanical, U.V., corrosion, thermal, and waterproof categories, both internally and by independent ISO accredited test houses. Notable tests include Accelerated UV Material Test, PROP65 (exclusion of substances of very high concern), FEA Analysis (Finite Element Analysis), and Material Test (Positive Material Identification for 316 Stainless Steel and Aluminium).
