Our new phone mount was designed to provide a micro holding station for your phone onboard. Based on our popular Nano design, it features self-aligning jaws that secure your mobile in place – no matter the weather.

Testing
Nano has been subjected to a high level of environmental, vibration, impact and on-water testing programs. This is combined with our world-renowned expertise in waterproofing technologies, UV stabilization techniques and premium-grade materials, ensuring Nano 10W is up to the challenge of life outdoors.

Installation
Installation is simple on any boat. Four screws secure the unit onto any flat surface with a simple installation guide and drilling template. For the best phone grip performance, a vertical installation is recommended. The charger is easy to clean and can be washed down with fresh water.

The testing standard at Scanstrut is encapsulated by the acronym SCA, which stands for Safe, Certified, and Approved. With over 35 years of experience and expertise in designing products for outdoor use, Scanstrut design products to be able to thrive in the harshest of outdoor environments.
Before any product is released, it must pass through the rigorous testing program which involves assessments in electrical, mechanical, U.V., corrosion, thermal, and waterproof categories. To ensure the highest level of accuracy, testing is conducted both internally and by independent ISO accredited test houses.

• On Water Test: Dynamic on water testing in harsh coastal conditions. Mounted to a test vessel to evaluate its performance in rough sea states.
• Shaker Table Test: Shock testing in X / Y / Z and +/- axis at 5G increments up to 30G to evaluate the product's strength.
• Corrosion Test: 100-hours of a special formula salt spray that simulates accelerated marine environmental effects on the product.
• FEA Analysis: Finite Element Analysis simulates the behaviour of the design in virtual conditions to optimize before prototyping and physical testing.
• IP Test: Water and dust protection under test laboratory conditions to international IP standards (IPX4 to IP68).
• 30G Shock Test: Shock testing at 30G to evaluate strength.
• Impact Test: Drop tests to assess the impact of items falling onto the product.
• Material Test: Positive Material Identification (PMI) ensures consistent quality of 316 Stainless Steel and Aluminium products.
• PROP65: Confirms the exclusion of substances of very high concern in products, aiming to protect human and animal health.
