SR-085 Taxi II is a crew and passenger transfer, high-speed, planning boat for operation in costal sea areas, lakes and rivers in any climate zone, provided that the water is clear of ice. SR-085 Taxi II structures and systems are designed to meet ISO Small Craft certification. Possible Design category for CE is C (different Modules possible). GENERAL Hull material: FRP Superstructure: FRP Functionality: crew and passenger transfer vessel Propulsion: Inboard turbo-diesel with a stern-drive or waterjet, or electric engines with stern-drives (upon request) DIMENSIONS Length overall 8.5 m Beam overall 2.65 m Passengers/Crew 10/2 pax. The boats of this project have been used in different regions since 2009. Many of them passed 2000 hrs of operation with minor technical issues, what allows to state that this boat project has a proven design. The feedback on the technical issues (since 2012) from one of the owners can be provided upon request. That boat has the Yanmar 6BY2-260Z with a duo-prop sterndrive, which has proven its commercial use reliability and cost-effectiveness.
