Overview
The Rocna Swivel is an individually proof-tested anchor swivel engineered for marine anchoring systems. Manufactured in G70 duplex stainless steel with a Nord-Lock washer pair, it is designed by Peter Smith to pair with Rocna anchors or any anchor system requiring matched strength and dependable rotation.

What the swivel does

• Prevents chain twist — rotates freely to keep rode straight and prevent twist accumulation that can kink chain or increase retrieval resistance.
• Smooth retrieval — eliminates resistance when the anchor self-rights on the bow roller, allowing the anchor to orient cleanly.
• System confidence — built to meet or exceed chain and shackle ratings so the swivel is not the weak link in the anchoring system.

Installation Highlights

• Three-step installation: attach swivel to anchor with bow shackle, align chain-side bodies and insert chain pin through end-link, tighten and secure Nord-Lock washer pair (60° beyond finger-tight or to 20 N·m).
• Includes square-drive key (or T45 bit). Use a torque wrench for the 20 N·m setting.
• Typical installation time: approximately 15 minutes with common tools.

12mm Rocna Swivel (fits 10–11 mm metric chain and 3/8″ imperial chain) is available now. Additional sizes will be released in future product launches.
