Description
Aerot® is a telescopic and modular oar designed to remove guesswork from rowing. One oar adapts to different boats, rowers, and rowing styles — no fixed lengths, no compromises.
Key features
The telescopic shaft adjusts continuously from 190 to 270 cm, allowing fine-tuning to boat width, freeboard, and personal rowing technique. Tested by Vene Magazine (7/2023), Aerot® received best-in-class scores: 10/10 adjustability and 10/10 grip on water. The oar combines a traditional feel with modern ergonomics: cushioned, grippy handles reduce fatigue. There are two handle options: an angled Ote handle with a rotating grip for more natural motion and better power transfer, and a straight handle for a classic feel.
Design and materials
Aerot® features a modular construction so individual parts can be replaced rather than discarding the whole oar. Composite components are made from glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide and the shaft is 100% recyclable aluminium. The oar runs quietly without squeaking, includes a perforation for theft prevention, and packs down compactly for easy transport and storage.
