OverviewThe Sport Tender 35 is a Scandinavian‑designed sport cruiser combining coupé comfort with open‑deck functionality. Built around everyday life onboard, it offers flexible living spaces for families and groups and features a newly developed air‑lubricated twin‑stepped hull for improved performance and efficiency.
Design philosophyDesign choices prioritise onboard movement and multifunctional spaces: easy access bow‑to‑stern, convertible seating and sunbeds, integrated canvas side canopies, foldable balconies to bring you closer to the water, and an ergonomic helm with options for twin 12" displays or a single 16" display.
Decks and exteriorTwo adaptable living areas change through the day. The foredeck serves as both a practical working area for boarding and rope handling and as two broad sun lounges with quilted cushions and drainage channels. The aft deck is a social hub with a large U‑sofa for six on a solid laminate frame, a three‑part backrest that converts to a large sunbed, and electrically operated fold‑out hull‑side balconies. Long ventilated lockers with click‑fit latches provide practical storage. A fixed bow ladder facilitates boarding from low quays.
Interior and accommodationThe layout supports family use with two cabins sleeping up to five plus a child berth from the convertible sofa. Accommodation includes a full‑length forward double cabin, two full‑length berths in a mid‑cabin, and a spacious head with shower, toilet and washbasin. The split galley sits up in the cockpit (wetbar, cold water, CR65L refrigerator), enabling movement through the boat with canvas sides deployed. An optional 70 L fridge under the sofa is available.
Helm and systemsHelm design follows the award‑winning ergonomics of Nimbus models: clean dashboard, ergonomic wheel with integrated controls, paddle wiper switches, full‑height windscreen integrated to the roof and stainless grab rails. Standard navigation and electronics include Simrad NSX 9‑inch plotter (larger display options available), compass, full LED lighting, battery shunt monitoring and Nimbus user interface. Zipwake dynamic trim control is specified.
Performance and enginesAvailable with single Mercury V10 (350 or 425 hp) or twin Mercury V8 (2 × 300 hp). The hull and propulsion are tuned for strong acceleration and a usable speed band: comfortable cruise 30–36 knots, top speeds above 40 knots and around 45 knots with twin V8s (figures to be verified in official tests). Fuel capacity: 620 L.
Construction and hullHull: twin‑stepped, air‑lubricated design. Construction: vacuum‑infused Divinycell sandwich laminate with a single laminate structure from behind the helm to the roof to increase stiffness.
