Design
The new Swan 80 has been designed by the renowned naval architect Germán Frers creating the overall concept, with naval architect Lucio Micheletti the exterior and Misa Poggi the interior. A fresh new look on deck features wood covered cockpit coamings extended further aft for crew comfort, giving a modern, uncluttered look emphasizing neatness and efficiency. Below deck the Swan 80 provides space and capacity for a wide variety of cabin configurations and open areas to meet diverse requirements.

Deck
The Swan 80’s near flush wooden deck highlights a discreet, streamlined coachroof running aft from the mast. The aft cockpit section is flat allowing multiple seating configurations, on-deck storage or removable furnishings for racing mode. The open aft deck can be arranged for swimming and sunbathing with easy access to the beach area and swimming platform adjacent to a full-beam lazarette able to accommodate a rigid inflatable boat. The yacht features twin rudders for directional stability, a tapered hull entrance and a powerful aft section balancing performance and stability. Hull construction: foam cored glass fibre reinforced epoxy with carbon fibre unidirectional reinforcements for solidity and durability.

Interiors
Versatility and flexibility characterise the Swan 80 interiors. Optional configurations are available for the location of cabins, sitting and dining areas. One possibility places the spacious owner’s cabin forward with four additional guest/VIP cabins, all with en suite facilities. Crew quarters are organised aft with independent access to cockpit, engine room and technical areas; an alternative layout allows temporary conversion of a guest cabin for crew increasing crew from 2 to 5. The saloon area can be expanded by converting one guest cabin into an additional TV or dining area.

Interior moods

• Timeless Classic: natural materials such as linen, cotton and leather in light colours with light durmast wood for a warm, sophisticated feel.
• Traditional Navy: linens and cottons in navy and shaded white blended with tobacco tones and natural teak, evoking historic sailing clubs.
• Wine Cowes: natural fabrics in wine and Cowes red with shaded white, “drunken” leather and Canaletto walnut.
• Spirit of Finland: Nordic approach with light European oak and walnut floorboards, performance fabrics in natural colours and earthy leather accents.

Design & Sailplan options
Conceptual sail plan options (standard and square-top) are available; multiple deck and general arrangement options are offered for owner preferences.
