MD9902 is an automatic addressable flame detector.
The alarm condition is transmitted to the central unit in case of flame presence.
It uses triple infrared technology to detect smokeless fires.
The temperature value is also available.
Self diagnostic function generates fault condition in case of sensor failure or degradation.
The detector can be supplied with different baseplates according to the installation requirements.
The detector address is programmed by the central unit or by software tools.
MD9902 is an automatic addressable detector able to provide fire alarm in case of flame presence and to survey the température inside the room where it is installed. It sends to the MD9800 Central Unit the analog values of température that it measures. Detector using infrared éléments is suitable for the détection of smokeless combustible liquid and gas fires, as well as smoke-forming open fire involving carbonaceous materials as contained in wood, plastics, gases, oil products etc.
The évaluation process by triple IR sensor protect by a sapphire that also filter >6,0pm wavelength radiation: sensor A measures the hot carbon dioxide in a spécifie flame wavelength, the B and C sensors simultaneously measure the interférence radiation in near wavelengths.
With intelligent signal processing through microprocessor and custom algorithms, the MD9902 detector achieves excellent détection reliability while maintaining the highest immunity to interférence radiation and sunlight.
The waterproof aluminium housing contains the evaluating electronics components and also shields from electromagnetic interférence (EMI).
