Description

Measuring 218 metres in length and almost 32 metres in width, Viking Grace instantly became the Viking Line flagship when it was commissioned in 2013. The red and blue ship from Finland was hailed by trade publications as the world’s first ever large ferry to run on eco-friendly LNG. The ship’s hull also boasts a hydrodynamic design to minimise its fuel consumption and ensure a calm and peaceful journey around the skerries. Viking Grace ticks even more ecological boxes with its electric drive motors that further minimise its fuel consumption. The vessel also has a lot to offer in other areas – its interior was designed by Vertti Kivi, the Finnish Architect of the Year 2011. It features seven bars and restaurants, as well as a spa area with whirlpools, saunas and a refreshing cave where it’s always snowing. Passengers can also choose from a wide range of shops and cabins in different categories – from simple inside cabins for four people to stunning suites with a sea view. The cruise ferry Viking Grace makes daily trips between Turku and Stockholm; it can accommodate up to 2,800 passengers and 500 cars. Type Ferries Shipyard MEYER TURKU Cruise Line Viking Line
