The SmartFind G8 PLUS AIS EPIRB by McMurdo is a multi-GNSS 406 MHz satellite distress beacon incorporating AIS localisation and an infrared night-vision optical signal to aid survivor detection in low-light conditions. Ruggedised for commercial maritime operations and optimised for MEOSAR, it is available in manual and auto (float-free) release variants.
