WEEDO 700 MKII is a rigid Fast Rescue Craft (FRC) with a hull of GRP special designed for service in the offshore industry. The craft is built in accordance with SOLAS 83 international rules and NMD’s regulation for rescue craft for offshore use. Weedo 700 MKII is of a full planning type design with a deep V-bottom and suitable for high speeds in adverse weather conditions. The hull is stiffened by a system of longitudinal and transverse bulkheads. The space between hull and innerliner is filled with expanded polyurethane foam, which will keep the boat floating under all conditions of flooding. The working deck is self-draining and made with an anti skid surface. The strength of hull and superstructure is sufficient to withstand all normal forces encountered under normal use at sea, at maximum boat speed. The cockpit has seating for two, side by side with all controls for engine and other equipment, and provide shelter for the crew.
