Overview
The Mantus M2 Performance is a modern boat anchor designed to set quickly and reliably across a range of seabed types (hard, grassy and muddy). Available in sizes from 8 lb to 175 lb, and in stainless or hot-dipped galvanized carbon steel finishes. Engineered in the USA; manufactured in Texas.

Performance & Storage
The M2 is sized to fit small dinghies through large cruising yachts. The geometry promotes rapid setting and improved soft-mud holding via foil-style ears. The anchor breaks down for compact storage using a single bolt for easy disassembly and stowage of spares.

Construction

• Formed from high-quality steel plate and precision-cast components.
• Oversized ASTM-certified bolts and factory locking washers supplied.
• Load-bearing bolt transmits only a fraction of the working load.
• Stainless version: 2205 Duplex shank with 316L fluke; shot-peened and electro-polished surface treatment for corrosion resistance.
• Carbon steel version: HT ASTM 514 shank and A36-equivalent fluke, all parts hot-dipped galvanized.
• Reinforced nose for extended service life.

Mantus anchors carry a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser for parts replacement (shank, fluke, roll-bar). The galvanized coating is covered for 3 years from date of purchase.
