Marine hybrid module MASE MILD

The new Mild Hybrid System is born from the impossibility for some boats to have on board the batteries necessary to guarantee a considerable autonomy. The direct partnership with Mase Generators has therefore allowed the development of a kit composed of variable speed generator set and fast charger that act as range extender for the current electrical system already proposed by Huracan. The kit keeps the battery charge at the optimal levels, reducing consumption peaks during acceleration and therefore drastically reducing consumption and emissions. The use of the diesel engine is not continuous, but functional to the charge of the batteries so in full-electric mode the system is zero emissions and allows silent navigation and access to areas protected. The Mild Hybrid system is applicable to all Huracan’s engines and can be used in both marine and land-based applications.
