Our 5‑litre V8 outboard engine range delivers the capabilities your vessel needs. Manage conditions with high power and efficient operation. The new 5 L V8 engine — the BF300-350 — is equipped with VTEC for elevated performance.

Main features

• VTEC: electronic control of valve timing and lift to increase peak power and provide extra acceleration thrust when required.
• BLAST™: low‑speed torque boost to eliminate lag on acceleration and deliver instant power reserve.
• ECOmo: fuel‑management system designed to reduce consumption at steady cruising speeds.
• Trim Support: automatic trim staging based on engine or boat speed, with three factory‑customizable presets.
• Cruise control: set boat speed with a button press and extend the adaptive speed range.
• Auto tilt: predefined tilt position for easier storage and mooring via double press of the PTT button.

• Reduced vibration and noise: engine and crankshaft innovations lower vibration and attenuate noise for improved onboard comfort.
