The Micro Chiller has been designed as a replacement for self-contained Airconditioners where the owner does not wish to have refrigeration cooling gas in the cabin.Using the Micro Chiller the condenser unit can be placed in the engine compartment whilst the evaporator is somewhere in the cabin. The connection is via flexible hoses. Only cooling water is circulating between the two.The Chiller offers also the advantage that two Airhand- lers may be mounted in two different cabins. Based on a 24.000 BTU Chiller it is possible BTU to install 2 x 12.000 BTU or a 16.000 BTU Airhandler in one cabinand 10.000 BTU in the other cabin. This allows maxi- mum of flexibility. The Micro Chiller is available in straight cool as well as in the reverse cycle heat mode. The unit is compact, economical and affordable and therefore ideal for yacht owners.
