Hempafire Optima 515 is a very low VOC, one-component waterborne acrylic thin film intumescent coating designed for passive fire protection of structural steel against cellulosic fires. It is optimized for on-site application to achieve R120 on open sections; shop application may be possible depending on project requirements.

Recommended use
Intumescent fire protection for structural steel in internal environments up to C3 (ISO‑12944). Recommended for I‑section beams and H columns. Also suitable as a repair and touch-up coat for damaged areas of freshly applied Hempafire Optima 515.
