Royal Flush marine toilets are built around a water-jet macerator proven across decades of service. The design demonstrates reliable maceration and discharge performance under demanding marine conditions and has been showcased by flushing challenging materials at industry demonstrations.

Operation principle
Pressurized water is accelerated through a jet to macerate and expel waste over a vented loop. The system uses inlet valves to control pressurized supply; there are no complex mechanical sewage pumps inside the toilet. The RFMB combines proven water-jet maceration with a modern valve and electronic control arrangement for simplified maintenance and reliable operation at sea.

Multitouch Control System
The Multitouch module contains a timer that controls two slow-close, water-hammer-free solenoid valves integrated in the unit. One push = normal flush (~3 L), two pushes = low-water flush, three pushes = Ultra-Low Volume flush that leaves the bowl dry (useful for maintenance or in heavy seas). This simplifies installation, reduces flushing noise and optimizes water use—typical normal flush less than 1 gallon (~3 L), balancing conservation and odor control.
