Product overview The AL40-R is a recessed ceiling luminaire designed for marine interiors (ships, yachts, offshore platforms). It fits nearly all marine ceilings, is simple to install and is available with B0 and optional B15 fire classifications. (M) versions are marine approved. The housing is steel with a white powder coat (RAL9016). Adjustable swing arms accommodate ceiling thicknesses up to 52 mm. Diffuser is IP44 and available in high-quality Micro Prismatic (MP) or Opalic (OP) polycarbonate. Silver Matt (SM) reflector optics deliver very low glare. Emergency options include External Battery 3h (EB3) and a short Internal Battery (E3). A charging indicator is located under the diffuser. *B15 fire rating requires extra insulation.
