GISATEX® SALON are textile coverings, which offer underfoot comfort and sound reduction. GISATEX® SALON carpet materials are manufactured from the high performance nylon fibres ANTRON Excel SC and ANTRON Supra. This pigment-dyed polyamide yarn, together with a sophisticated technical design, offers a unique combination of extraordinary wear resistance, low-maintenance, and lasting good looks. ANTRON Excel SC and ANTRON Supra fibres are pigment-dyed. The pigments are added to the nylon polymers during the spinning process. Therfore, they become an integral part of the fibre. This makes them extremely light insensitive and colour-fast, able to withstand high light exposure, direct sunshine, salt water and intensive mechanical cleaning. The dense surface layer prevents dirt and water penetration and allows spilt liquids to be dabbed off. The carbon core filaments are mixed into the individual fibres and the conductive lower construction of the carpet backing. This makes these floor coverings particularly suitable for areas requiring high anti-static performance. GISATEX® SALON are fully synthetic carpets and thus non-decaying, sea water resistant, UV resistant, and have outstanding sound absorption qualities.
