Fincantieri delivered Costa Fascinosa, then the largest cruise ship flying the Italian flag, in 2012. A SPECTACULAR SHIP TO EXPLORE AND ENJOY The interior spaces were designed by the brilliant architect Joseph Farcus, the originator of today’s “fun ships”, as a paean to people and places that have become icons of charm and seduction. The interiors evoke the glamour of the classic films, the actors who made them famous, and the works that have graced the most celebrated theatres in the world. At the stern, the lido dedicated to the best-loved film of all, “Gone with the wind”, offers a full 1,000 m2 of fun and relaxation, with water games and Jacuzzis suspended over the sea. Another open-air lido, the Blue Moon, has a retractable glass roof for basking under the big sky all year round plus an 18-m2 mega screen showing videos and films at selected times.
