CONDENSERS In systems involving heat transfer, a condenser is a device or unit used to condense a substance from its gaseous to its liquid state, by cooling it. Condensers are typically heat exchangers which have various designs and come in many sizes ranging from rather small (hand-held) to very large industrial-scale units used in plant processes. HEATERS & COOLERS Cooler – A device in which the main fluid is cooled down by a secondary flow, which is heated. Heating is normally performed by hot thermal oil, hot water or steam, or electrically. FALLING FILM EVAPORATOR In general evaporation takes place inside vertical tubes, but there are also applications where the process fluid evaporates on the outside of horizontal or vertical tubes. In all cases, the process fluid to be evaporated flows downwards by gravity as a continuous film. The fluid will create a film along the tube walls, progressing downwards (falling) – hence the name TUBE BUNDLES We manufacture tube bundles (including U-Tube Bundles, Floating Head Bundles) as spare parts, for client’s stock or to change the old ones.
