OverviewThe DUS CV compact USV platform is a fully electric unmanned surface vehicle designed for high-precision inland operations. Its shallow draft, low-profile hull and compact footprint enable autonomous navigation in turbulent, confined and overgrown environments such as floodplains, groin fields and creeks. Despite its small size, the DUS CV provides industrial-grade data acquisition and flexible integration for hydrographic, environmental and asset-management missions.
Design & deploymentDelivered as a turnkey system, the vessel requires minimal setup and no cradle. The self-supporting hull permits direct placement on fins and bow. The impact-resistant single-lid HDPE hull, inspired by military flight-case design, protects the platform, integrated antennas and payloads in harsh field conditions.
Payload & integrationModular payload architecture supports a wide range of sensors and systems including:
- Hull-mounted ADCP
- 2D/3D side-scan sonar
- Multi-beam and single-beam echo sounders
- Sub-bottom profiler (SBP)
- Water quality sensors and sampling systems
- Moonpool options supporting MBES, SBES, SSS, ADCP, SBP and winch
Key features- Immediate deployment — turnkey delivery with minimal setup
- Survey-ready integration — modular moonpool and hull-integrated sensors to reduce drag and enhance safety
- Impact-resistant HDPE hull for operation in challenging environments
- Redundant systems and fail-safes for propulsion, power and data; collision-avoidance and flexible control modes
- Accessible payload bay and central access to vessel systems for simplified maintenance
- Precise manoeuvring — patented USV Dynamic Positioning for stable station-keeping in confined areas
