DATA quick-release disc type towing hooks are designed to provide maximum safety, durability, and ease of use under challenging marine conditions. They are designed to suit all types of vessel operations, with six different models offering safe working load (SWL) capacities ranging from 15 tons to 150 tons. The disc-type mechanism, manufactured from high-strength materials, ensures long service life with minimal maintenance. In emergency situations, the quick-release function allows crew members to operate safely and perform rapid maneuvers. As all other DATA products, quick release towing hooks are tested in accordance with international standards and deliver outstanding performance in harbors, ports, and offshore operations where high safety and reliability are required. Quick Release with Pneumatic System The pneumatic quick release system consists of a pneumatic cylinder, a 24VDC pneumatic valve, and a bridge-mounted release panel. An optional deck-mounted waterproof release button can also be supplied. The system requires a minimum air pressure of 5 bar and a maximum of 10 bar. Quick Release with Hydraulic System The hydraulic quick release system consists of a hydraulic cylinder, a 24VDC or 380VAC hydraulic power unit, a hydraulic accumulator, and a bridge-mounted release panel. An optional deck-mounted waterproof release button can also be supplied. If an existing hydraulic system is available on board, the release function of the towing hook can be integrated into this system.
