The ASD Tug 2813 is the successor of the highly maneuverable ASD Tug 2913. The design of the vessel focuses on the combined delivery of safety and efficiency. Extra stability comes courtesy of a wide beam and the relatively low position of the ergonomic wheelhouse. From the wheelhouse, operators have a clear, unrestricted view of operations. The highly maneuverable ASD 2813 delivers 85 tonnes of bollard pull ahead and 80 astern.
Equipped with modular winch options, delivering render and recovery capabilities at up to 3 meters wave height, the ASD Tug 2813 excels in versatility. The logistically developed layout of the winches ensures a spacious, obstacle-free working deck with optimal towing point positioning for safe ship-handling operations in harbors, estuaries and offshore terminals.
COMFORTABLE & SUSTAINABLE
In line with Damen’s philosophy of building vessels in series, the ASD 2813 Tug’s systems are modular with clearly marked information for ease of maintenance. Compliant with MLC 2006 and the latest tug stability requirements from IMO MSC 415 (97), the vessel offers optimal comfort for its crew of up to ten people. And, as an IMO Tier III-ready vessel, the ASD Tug 2813 is future-proof.
