Description

This BIBS system is the same as the usual BIBS systems, except the Demand Regulator is not fitted onto the mask but wall-mounted. The mask is much lighter and comfortable than the usual BIBS mask. Built-in Breathing System enables divers or patients to inhale a breathing mixture which is different from the one constituting the ambient atmosphere of the hyperbaric chamber. It has been specially designed to breathe oxygen-rich mixtures used in hyperbaric oxygen therapy or by divers during chamber decompression. The exhale breathing gases are evacuated to the outside through the dump circuit so that oxygen concentration in the chambers remains at acceptable level. The system is composed of : • Wall-mounted Demand Regulator • LP inlet corrugated hose • Oronasal breathing Mask • LP outlet corrugated hose • LB78 Dump Valve • Second Stage Dump Valve (for Chambers above 5 bars) The Wall-mounted Demand Regulator inlet fitting is 1/4" BSP Female that can easily be connected to any standard O2 hospital adapter.. The LB78 Dump valve inlet and the Wall-mounted Demand Regulator outlet are dia. 22 mm straight hose connectors that may easily be adapted to any LP hoses. This is particularly interesting for those who prefer to use disposable hoses rather that our standard heavy-duty corrugated hose. The Oronasal Mask may be replaced by any standard disposable masks. LB78 Dump valve, Wall-Mounted Demand Regulator and Oronasal Mask may be used separately and mixed with pieces of equipment of competing manufacturers.
